When will we be able to buy one from LTT store?
"I didn't have to worry about the thickness at all!" That's what she said.
YOU SHOULD WATER COOL A WIFI-ROUTER XD
Why in the bloody fuck would you want a faraday cage for your router?
14:45 Holy Cow!!!! that is EXPENSIVE!!! in EU I pay €5 for 100GB in Russian I pay €0.5 for unlimited High Speed WiFi
Killed u in my recent montage gg my king no cap :D
Surprised you didnt say monitors when listing out devices with electromagnetic radiation.. Fun fact monitors also cause non-ionizing radiation and with proper software and sdr you can re-compile a image from a monitor over software radio which is pretty cool meaning if your within range you can view peoples monitors no software or hacking to the other persons machine at all needed. Its called the tempest effect.
Vaccines don't cause autism, but a lack of them causes people to lock their routers in cages
Linus do fact check yourself
Devra Davis (PhD MPH, post Doc from Johns Hopkins) links several studies (found at cancerresearchideas.cancer.gov) that make a compelling case that cell phones emit enough radiation to affect breast tissue if worn close to your chest, i.e. under a bra. There seems plenty of evidence that radio signals, over time, can cause cells to mutate.
@Kais Jude! I missed your non sequitur! Go!
No.
is this fucking real
Talk about the noctua ANC fans eventually
You can also turn off the radios and just use ethernet. 0 signals transmitted also achieve this effect and it is built into the router at no extra cost
There serious about fucking around.
I wanted to see you do a test for all the radiation. If it acts like a microwave it could block some signals but not others. Im curious as to what it blocks
I have a challenge for ltt, can you make a working faraday cage that will make your WiFi useless for less than the cost of one of them.
Two points to remember: #1 Those are probably paid for reviews the bane of amazon reviews. #2 Many US cable providers include cable modems with built in wifi THAT you CANNOT turn completely off.. Although I would just buy and DSL or cable modem.
Wifi Access Point
apparently it stops aliens from taking over your internet connection too, so no more surprise attacks from mars
is it me, or would the faraday cage make an unusual air cooled mini pc?
14:45 Holy Cow!!!! that is EXPENSIVE!!! in EU I pay €5 for 100GB in Russian I pay €0.5 for unlimited High Speed WiFi
I didnt know Redstone Flux was harmful
Will the cable ties be available in the us
I found these at the dollar store they are called folder holders but nobody buys them because we all use computers now
well i mean if it does what it says it does whats the problem
@LTT review some emp proof faraday cages to keep our backup computers in for when everyone else is playing Fallout IRL
Did not need that tunnel shot out of the grommet... But my gosh did I appreciate it
I can't believe this is a bigger waste of money than Denis's Extreme Tech Upgrade
The unsuitable toad intringuingly supply because machine preliminarily train up a lucky birthday. aware, smooth submarine
Could you do a review on this: www.amazon.co.uk/SYB-Radiation-Protection-Blocker-Laptops-Ultra-Marine/dp/B01F1EW3Y0?ref_=ast_slp_dp . Just wanted to see of this works.
Lol wtf
Is excuse me pardon the Canadian way to say sorry what
8:25 THANK YOU FOR MENTIONING A PRACTICAL SECURITY THING THAT PEOPLE CAN DO! I always feel like I'm the only one out here who has ANY idea... FINALLY someone gets it!
There was a blind test where someone would complain about headaches due to the Wi-Fi router in the room, so blind testing was done covering the router with a plain cardboard box. The person still said they suffered headaches with the router turned off.
Bruh got the wifi condom.
That cage/mesh material is exactly the same that i use to keep my cats in the house. So it's technically a cage still :D
try adding tin foil to the inside of it
if I'm being honest the solution to the argument about whether 5G and WiFi are bad for you I think it relates to how the media report on radiation its a spectrum if the media reported on atomic accidents or anything relating to nuclear anything using the term Ionizing Radiation rather than saying Radiation it would make people understand the whole thing better I feel
I'm sure every anti-masker has one of these in their home.
cool camera move at 5:00 ! 🤔 wonder what a dollyzoom would'ave looked like though, moving through the hole... and what lens did you guys use ?
No.... what.... the....spoof...
But...but how did Linus survive? I thought for sure that he'd be melted into a puddle by the dangerous EMF.
People won't wear suncream, but they are terrified of a 5G signal mast 😂.
Now that is how you make money.
Linus, I hope you were there only customer
Probably some 20 year old "entrepreneur" doing this for the meme
When people want to pay $100 for a paper holder, it shows you how far gone they are. Unlike their WiFi signal, that doesn't go far at all.
if molded with a hammer, it can protect against covid 19 and 5g at same time without wearing a mask
just wrap the antenna in aluminium foil
it needs to be grounded faraday cage
An Alcatel Cell R&D expert told me the thing not to do is hand-held mobile in the car. The metal car body weakens the received signal which cranks up the transmit power, which is further increased by reflections and resonances within the car cavity, then you hold it as close to your brain as possible. Some significant warming of the brain was detected in experiments and whatever that is, it is not good! And all that on top of the driver distraction issue! The tinfoil helmet idea looks better and better.
For god sake. I want booster.
Chuck Mcgill is tying...
Did you connect it to ground? A faraday cage should be
"The law does not protect the dunb" a catchy phrase I did learn in my early law school years... 🤣
Come on, the tin foil hat brigade is going to buy this stuff regardless of "science", so you may as well start making branded ones to sell on your store...
I'm thinking that a large percentage of the American population could use such a device. Just think of all those unprotected brains! Edit: You can blame the Trump tariffs for the price markup, not the importer.
there will be a massive reduction in signal.
My mom would buy it. She thinks the WiFi raises her pulse so she can‘t sleep... 🧐
you forget to mention that the size of the holes and the thickness of the mesh has a big impact on the effectiveness at *certain frequencies* the rule of thumb is that the holes should not exceed 1/10th of the wavelength size. so at 5ghz, the wavelength is 6cm long so the mesh should have holes no larger than 6mm in diameter
Chinese yen..... Nice...
I mean if this is such a worry why not just use and ethenet cable.
You actually need to ground the cage as well for it to be effective lol
Ain't the Smart Router cage used in cybercafes to people not to steal it nor their password?
your affiliate link shows $246.25 CAD for the garbage
Build a computer inside the wifi cage!
I'm sorry I did really try.... but couldn't watch this till the end..... slightly traumatized now for worlds stupidity
I love that someone out there is possibly a millionaire now thanks to people who don't think for themselves and do their own research.
Well this was worth the laowa probe lens hahahahaah
The 5 star ratings were not from people. It was from bots or at the best actors hired to upvote the rating.
bad video you didnt test the emf levels you could have bought a tester to show difference
But but that's the whole point of a WAP
Funniest thing I heard about the 5G mobile/cellular network and these nut jobs who think it's dangerous was that back in May last year when here in the UK we had the "Clap for the NHS" thing where you stood outside your door at 8pm on a Thursday clapping for 5 mins, they said the reason for it was because at 8pm on a Thursday, the UK Government and mobile networks tested 5G and our clapping was designed to drown out the noise of the transmitters so we had no idea the testing was happening!
Ummm, be sure there is metal to metal contact (or a grounding wire / strap) between the glorified paper holder and its lid or base, then ground the cage. When you re-run test there will be a massive reduction in signal.
If anyone is interested I have anti-5G hand lotion and swampland in Florida for sale.
Content desperation lol
OOHHHH THATS A... router shield?? I thought that was an ugly metal box
Great guide Linus! how to make $$ from silly people! Go buy a load of office mesh holders from dollar shops modify them and wack em on eBay as Wifi Router Shields lmao!!
When was the last time we’ve seen Linus’s hair? It’s been so long I forgot the color.
Even more surprising is how they got 12 and a half minutes of content out of it lmao
This was coming on feed after the Cyberpunk 2077 scam video. I guess ROones is right.
I have my router directly behind me a Foot and a half, and I'm on a mesh chair. Don't fear the wifi's
omg who ever thought to cash in on these idiots who will buy this shit for real fears of wifi lmao
I bet trump supporters are the only ones buying this
Highest power 5g arrays are about 100w for the full array. If you climbed one with a bottle of lube and inserted the best part of the largest antenna up there into your sphincter like a trained sword swallower, it might give you some mild burns.
Basically its a Fish,n chip deep fryer |_🍟__|--- another basket case your gunna get more rad burnt outside on yur bald spot xd
I don't know what you think is funny.
That people think EMF is dangerous to us in the form of consumer electronics, and buy a fake faraday cage to contain it.
hahaha, we tried this in physics, blocking phone signals by putting them in the cage.......wait.
you should do more research on emf waves, they are detrimental to your health
Yeah maybe a 1500 watt 2.45ghz magnetron directly to the skin...
No.. no they're not...
I went from EMF Level 5 to EMF 1 by using it so I am save from Revenants now. Thank you!
hey just a question so sleeping with your phone next to your bed isn't harmful, because I hear it a lot
@The Iridium Gamer thx
@Robert Haddad Yeah sure it could increase your risk of cancer, yet so does walking in the sun or overeating, yet that still doesn't stop us. Don't worry too much about it
@The Iridium Gamer "Sleeping with your phone in your bed, or near to your head, could increase the risk of brain cancer, warns the California Department of Public Health. Phones emit radio frequency energy, which some scientists believe could increase the risk of brain cancer, and tumours of the acoustic nerve and salivary glands."
@The Iridium Gamer i know that but many have said that the emissions your phone produces is dangerous that is may cause cancer for a long term
If it was, then think about how many other electronics would also be harmful. Your television, radio, speakers, your car's infotainment system, and Bluetooth speakers. They're not at all dangerous, your body can easily handle it without hurting you.
The only thing I can think of that would make this type of product remotely useful is to store your Car's key fob if it's a newer car. Carjacker's can actually hack the fob remotely from the street to steal your car. But that's like... a spot to put it when you get home for the day and that's it.
Most expensives paper´s holder on da planet, great, must have.. :D
Great. Now you have to review an actually effective Faraday cage.
You can make your own from a shoebox. Btw. How was that zooming out shot accomplished.?
Brought to you by Alex Jones
i thought i was on the wrong channel.... TV home shopping "the largest deep fying mesh' LOL .
do..do people not..go to high school anymore? like..just..how are you this stupid?
Welcome to the internet... People still think the Earth is flat, so don't be surprised that they don't understand basic science.
I am most certainly not fear mongering 5g, but there really hasn't been any serious research into long term effects of constant exposure to EM like that found in 5G (or other similar signals). That doesn't mean it will cause problems, it just means we don't really know. And lets not act like only ionizing EM radiation is harmful, Ultra Violet radiation is not an 'ionizing radiation', but we know quite well that it is harmful (sunburn, skin cancer, etc). What makes me scratch my head is why 5g has gotten so much attention, we have absolutely been cranking out all types of EM fields pretty much since the industrial revolution, at all sorts of wavelengths. And there has been some grumbling in the past about things like high voltage electrical cables near houses, microwave ovens, cell phones, etc; most of the fear mongering has been quite fringe. Something about 5g has really captured the public's imagination.
You are right about how little we know, but what we've had plenty of other studies into the effects of different waves on organic matter, where there still is an insanely small chance for beta radiotion to even penetrate your skin, as a piece of paper is enough to absorb it.
Should have wrapped those guys in tin foil as another baseline!
Andy is so kind. He didn't say you can buy it under 2 dollars...
🤣🤣🤣
